Mark your calendars and get ready for our annual PyData Global 2021, October 28th-30th! This three-day virtual event consists of talks, tutorials, and discussions to bring attendees the best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization.

Check out the great lineup of speakers at pydata.org/global2021/schedule/, and get ready to share experiences, learn from one another, and enjoy the conference!

PyData Global is a community event run by volunteers that welcomes attendees with a wide variety of experiences, expertise, and backgrounds to create a diverse and compelling learning experience.

We are pleased to recognize this year’s chairs:

  • Sanket Verma, PyData Delhi
  • Conrad Ho, PyData London + PyData Hong Kong
  • Marysia Winkels, PyData Amsterdam

Hosting this event virtually offers flexibility to accommodate attendees all over the world reflecting the global nature of our community. Each session will be recorded and made available so that each attendee can enjoy the presentation regardless of where they live in the world. Our pay-what-you-can model allows every attendee to contribute to the PyData community, and most importantly, it is a great way to connect with the growing PyData community.

This event follows last year’s inaugural PyData Global online conference, which had nearly 2,000 community members from all around the world that contributed to the diversity of attendees and speakers. PyData Global 2021 builds on the success of last year’s event which was led by chairs: Jane Adams, PyData New York; Diego Torres Quintanilla, PyData New York; Matthijs Brouns, PyData Amsterdam; and Sanket Verma, PyData Delhi. Their efforts to organize this never-been-done PyData online conference were recognized with a NumFOCUS Community Leadership Award. We are thankful for all of their hard work and dedication to the PyData community.

“For the last five years, I have had the generous opportunity to run PyData Delhi as Chair of the organizing committee. I have always loved giving back to the community and bringing everyone together. COVID-19 pandemic halted all of our meet-ups and most importantly the PyData conferences, which are one of the major fundraisers for NumFOCUS. This led to the inception of PyData Global. I enjoyed organizing the PyData Global 2020 and made some amazing friends around the globe. Every day spent with the PyData community and NumFOCUS is super rewarding and fun and I’ll be here as long as I can.” Sanket Verma PyData Global 2021 Chair

We highly value your participation and cannot wait to connect with you in October!
