A very happy #GivingTuesday and warm season’s greetings! 2022 has been a monumental year for NumFOCUS and our projects, marking our organization’s 10th anniversary (pause for reflection and applause).

Our annual Year-End Fundraiser kicks off today, and we hope you can join us by showing your support throughout this campaign period by giving and sharing among your networks. To get things started with a bang, the first 50 people to donate today will receive a free NumFOCUS hoodie!

Make Your Year-End Contribution today!

Help us provide fundamental support for the work of incredible Individuals collectively solving humanity’s biggest problems.

Your year-end contributions fund NumFOCUS’s Small Development Grants (SDG): a community collaboration addressing specific project needs while engaging dedicated volunteers.

What does your contribution accomplish?

  • Funding the development of new tools.
  • Sending key contributors to important events.
  • Producing learning materials.
  • Purchasing equipment for critical tests.
  • And fill other crucial needs as determined by projects. Find out more here.

NumFOCUS relies on unrestricted revenue generated during this fundraising campaign and throughout the year to serve our project contributors and users. Donors may also make contributions earmarked for specific NumFOCUS projects, so your support can reach a field of open science that particularly compels you. Make your contribution here. (The drop-down menu enables you to donate to our General Fund or select a specific project you would like to support.)

Give today, and your contribution could be worth twice as much. Between now and December 31, donations will qualify for a corporate match from several of our generous corporate sponsors. We will announce new sponsors throughout the campaign, so follow along on Twitter or LinkedIn.

Consider supporting NumFOCUS today, and stay tuned to our blog, social media channels, and email for more information and announcements throughout the end of the year!
